Let me start by introducing ourselves.  My name is Meritxell Franco and together with my husband Tony we own and manage La Casita Nursery.

We first met in Brighton (Tony’s home town) in 1988, got married in Barcelona (my home city) in April 1997 and have been happily settled in Hove since. Tony is in charge of finance and accounts whilst I am the nursery manager.

When our youngest son started school, we really missed having our little ones around, so in 2009 La Casita was born as a Spanish-English childminding setting and grew slowly into the small family-run Nursery we are today.

La Casita’s main focus continues to be providing a safe, caring and stimulating atmosphere while learning Spanish effortlessly. These cornerstones in our Nursery makes it a very special place for young children and their families.
